Reside was formed following the birth of fintech in the mortgage industry. Off the back of a need for the mortgage market to evolve in line with the growing world of tech, the 4 of us have very much taken note and are building Reside.

With more than ten years in the mortgage industry, Rav began his journey in West London as an in-house mortgage broker for an estate agents.
After four years, he transitioned to one of the UK’s rapidly growing online mortgage brokerages, where he served as a founding broker for six years, contributing to the company’s growth.
Outside of work, Rav is an enthusiastic Economist who spends his spare time tutoring students, sharing his knowledge with the next generation.
Despite his busy professional life, he values quality moments with his wife, Janki, and their son, Aariv, whether they’re at home in West London or on exciting travel adventures.
In addition to his family time, Rav enjoys exploring his culinary skills and maintains his commitment to fitness at the gym. Overall, he strives for a well-rounded and fulfilling life.

David Donn
Protection Director and founding partner at Reside Mortgages, embarked on his journey a decade ago at a major high street bank, diving into the intricacies of finance. Transitioning into mortgages four years later within the same institution, David carved a path through esteemed roles at leading home specialists and an online brokerage before joining forces with Reside’s founders.
At Reside, David’s focus now centres on safeguarding clients through protection services, drawing from his extensive experience. He ensures individuals and families are comprehensively covered, lending his expertise for their security.
Off-duty, David’s loyalty lies with Arsenal FC, seizing game opportunities whenever possible. When not cheering, he’s either at the gym, keeping fit, or joyfully chasing after his energetic nephews for some lively fun.
East London is David’s hub, rarely venturing beyond the M25, except for occasional escapes to Ibiza or Las Vegas, seeking relaxation and adventure. His dedication to client security and knack for balancing life’s pleasures makes him an indispensable asset at Reside Mortgages, a reliable guide through the maze of home financing and protection.

Starting his journey in 2015, Darren kicked off his career in the property industry by selling houses. Eventually, he made the switch to the mortgage side and continued helping clients secure financing for their properties while working in the estate agents’ office.
In 2019, Darren joined an online mortgage broker, where he crossed paths with Reside’s co-founders. Over the next four years, he nurtured his passion and expertise in the world of mortgages, emphasising integrity and excellent client service.
Darren brings a wealth of experience and an unwavering commitment to all aspects of property transactions. His dedication and genuine care make him a reliable ally, always ready to support people on their journey to homeownership and celebrate the good times.
Beyond mortgages, Darren’s life is a mix of shared adventures with his wife, Cina, exploring culinary delights and savouring great food. Embracing his love for sports, he enjoys the strategic intricacies of cricket, passionately supports Arsenal, and immerses himself in the thrill of both watching and playing football.

Steve kicked off his mortgage career back in 2017 with L&C. Fast forward to today, and Steve is now one of the co-founders of Reside Mortgages. With a strong emphasis on delivering a personalised and integrity-driven service for a smooth client journey.
Beyond the world of mortgages, Steve is a genuine sports lover, especially when it comes to football, rugby and golf. Whether he’s out kicking a ball or working on his swing, sports have been a consistent and significant part of his life. When he’s not on the pitch or the golf course, you’ll likely find Steve at the gym, staying committed to an active and healthy lifestyle.
Outside of work and his athletic pursuits, Steve dives into culinary adventures, enjoying both the process of cooking and exploring diverse dining experiences.
